DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Feb. 20, 2000) - "Home Sweet Home" will be a little sweeter later this year for one lucky NASCAR fan. Michael Holigan.com, sponsor of the No. 25 Chevrolet driven by Jerry Nadeau in the NASCAR Winston Cup Series, will build a $250,000 home for the grand prize winner of its "Win A New Home" sweepstakes. "We're really excited about this program," said Michael Holigan, President of Michael Holigan companies and host of Michael Holigan's Your New House, which airs daily on The Discovery Channel and weekly on 130 broadcast stations. "One lucky NASCAR fan is going to win the ultimate dream home." The "Win A New Home" sweepstakes kicks off with this Sunday's NASCAR Winston Cup season-opening Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway, and runs throughout the 34-race season. Race fans can register by logging onto Michael Holigan's NASCAR page at www.michaelholigan.com and submitting a "Win A New Home" registration form. The grand prize in the sweepstakes is a $250,000 home built by a Michael Holigan builder anywhere in the United States. The winner can choose a Michael Holigan home plan, an existing home plan, or the company will work with them to design a floor plan for their new house. The grand prize winner will be announced at the end of the 2000 NASCAR Winston Cup season. Additional prizes to be given away throughout the year in the "Win a Home" sweepstakes include two honorary pit crew memberships for one race with the No. 25 Michael Holigan race team, and 30 tickets to NASCAR Winston Cup Series races.
