DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Feb. 4, 1999) Anheuser-Busch, Inc. announced today it has renewed its relationship with NASCAR legend Cale Yarborough and will sponsor Yarborough-Burdette Motorsports driver Rick Mast in the 1999 Bud Shootout at Daytona.

The brewer's Budweiser brand will sponsor Mast in the No. 98 Ford Thunderbird with a paint scheme similar to Wally Dallenbach's No. 25 Budweiser Chevrolet. He qualified for the Bud Shootout by winning the Bud Pole at last year's GM Goodwrench Service Plus 400 at North Carolina Speedway at Rockingham.

Budweiser's sponsorship of Mast renews Anheuser-Busch's relationship with Yarborough dating back to the 1970s. The company's Busch brand sponsored Yarborough as a driver for owner Junior Johnson during the 1979 and 1980 seasons, during which he won 10 races. Yarborough also set a NASCAR Winston Cup Series record by capturing 14 Busch Pole Awards in 1980.

Budweiser, the "Official Beer of NASCAR," is brewed by Anheuser-Busch, Inc., the world's largest brewer.
