*** Now, reviewing the race.... Rusty Wallace's win in the Goody's Headache Powders 500 Sunday not only made him the only driver to win the spring race at Martinsville Speedway four years in a row, but moved him into a third-place tie with Dale Earnhardt and Cale Yarborough on the all-time win list at the historic speedway with six. Richard Petty remains the leader at the .526-mile facility with 15 wins. Darrell Waltrip is next 11.

*** Wallace's win moved him past the $13 million mark on the all-time NASCAR Winston Cup money winnings list. His current total is $1,034,897.

*** Wallace now has won five of the last NASCAR Winston Cup races at Martinsville Speedway. *** Speaking of Waltrip, Darrell's 16th-place finish in Sunday's race was the first time since the spring of 1988 that he has finished an April race at Martinsville outside the top five.

*** On the other hand, Dale Earnhardt's fifth- place finish Sunday was the 14th top-five of his career at Martinsville. But, it was tile first one in the spring race since he won in 1991.

*** Jeremy Mayfield's fourth-place finish Sunday was the best run of his NASCAR Winston Cup career.
