JAMIE MCMURRAY -- No. 26 Irwin/Crown Royal Ford Fusion (Qualified 2nd)

"We mainly worked on race runs today and made a qualifying run right there at the end and the car was really good. That's usually encouraging at Martinsville. If you can qualify well and get a good pit selection, typically your car will race well so I look forward to the race on Sunday."

WERE YOU SURPRISED WITH JEFF'S REACTION AFTER SUNDAY'S RACE? "I

don't know. Bristol, I'm usually pretty calm and Bristol has brought out the worst in me before. It's so frustrating when you run that well all day long and you feel like someone takes that away from you at the end. It's a long race and when it goes away with one corner to go it's just frustrating. I think if you don't get out and show your anger and express yourself, then it shows you don't care so, no, I'm not surprised at all."

DOES A LIGHT JUST KIND OF COME ON FOR A DRIVER AT THIS PLACE?

"For me I came and tested here when I drove the 40 car. I didn't race here, but I came and tested it and I always enjoyed this place. It's somewhere I look forward to coming to, but I think Tony said it best because I think it's the hardest place to qualify. You can have a good car, but it's so easy to lock the front brakes up or just overdrive the corner, so it's one of those places you can certainly be in the top five in practice and qualify 20th. It's so close. It's a fun race, though. I enjoy coming here and racing."
