Persistent rain ended chances that the Old Dominion 500 could be run at Martinsville Speedway today. NASCAR has officially postponed the race today.

"Everything was set to go. We had a great crowd, but there's nothing we can do about the weather," said Martinsville Speedway president Clay Campbell. "The weather is supposed to be great on Monday, so we hope everyone can make it back."

It has been rescheduled for 11:00 am EDT tomorrow. The race will be carried live on the TNT cable network.

The postponement means Kevin Harvick, and Kenny Wallace will be able to drive their assigned cars in the event.
