Notes: Both the Nextel Cup and Craftsman Truck Series will run the same tire codes this weekend, though the Nextel Cup tires will be branded "Goodyear Eagle," while the Craftsman Truck tires will be branded "Goodyear Wrangler" . . . this is the second year that Goodyear has brought this tire combination to Martinsville . . . Martinsville is one of four tracks on the 2005 Nextel Cup schedule to which Goodyear will bring the same codes as last year . . . the others are Darlington, Infineon and Watkins Glen . . . this is the only Nextel Cup track at which these left- and right-side tires will be run together in 2005 . . . this right-side code (D-6836) will be run on the front tire positions at both Cup road courses this season . . . the truck series will run this same combination next month at Mansfield . . . as on most NASCAR ovals less than one mile in length, teams will not run inner liners in their tires at Martinsville.
