STERLING MARLIN (No. 40 Coors Light Dodge Intrepid) - Finished Seventh

"We were a little bit off. It was typical Martinsville. We were slipping and sliding a little bit. We were a little loose at times, a little tight at times. I guess we had the best Dodge today, so we'll just keep trying to get better. We had a few donuts on the car today, but it was just typical Martinsville."

KEN SCHRADER (No. 49 1-800-CallATT Dodge Intrepid) - Finished 10th

"We weren't bad. It was a good day. We could have finished better, but that last pit stop really hurt us. I think we could have been a bit higher. I didn't get a top 10 last year, so I'll take it. The neat thing is that no one expects us to do this. We'll just keep showing them each week. I've got to thank Scott Eggleston (crew chief) for giving me a great car all day."

JIMMY SPENCER (No. 7 Sirius Satellite Radio Dodge Intrepid) - Finished 19th

"We had a really good car. Something happened on the pit stop and the gas can got stuck. We got pushed to the rear of the field and we never got back up. Every time we tried to get a lap back the caution wouldn't fall or whatever. Once you lose track position it's pretty tough. We were going to be leading the race and instead we end up 43rd or whatever it was. You can't recoup from it, or at least we didn't recoup from it."

BILL ELLIOTT (No. 9 Dodge Dealers/UAW Dodge Intrepid) - Finished 13th

"I don't think I ever drove that hard to finish 13th. It's just all about track position, and we chased it all day long."

JAMIE McMURRAY (No. 42 Havoline Dodge Intrepid) - Finished 39th

"For the first time here, I was pretty excited about the way we were running. Something broke in the engine and out we go. I was better at the beginning of the race than I was there at the end. We probably should have made some adjustments to the car, but I was afraid to because we were so good. I learned this was a tough place to race, but I'm looking forward to coming back. We had a top 10 car, but you've got to finish to prove it."

JEREMY MAYFIELD (No. 19 Dodge Dealers/UAW Dodge Intrepid) - Finished 40th

"We had a fast car here today. That's about four weeks in a row where we've hit it. These guys have really worked hard, but it hasn't really shown yet. The thing that keeps us going is that we're getting better and better every week. We got stuck in the back after putting the belt on our power steering. Some guys checked up and stacked 'em up. We knocked in our radiator and it started overheating. We had a fast car again. The chassis was good and everybody did a good job."

KENNY WALLACE (No. 23 Stacker2 Dodge Intrepid) - Finished 12th

"The race track only had three pumps open, and when I pitted we couldn't no gas in our car because we didn't have gas. I had to pit again because they didn't have gas. I had to make up two laps. We easily had a top-five car. I came from the back three times. I was two laps down and made 'em both up. What are you going to do? I finished 12th. It should have been a lot better than that."

WARD BURTON (No. 22 Caterpillar Dodge Intrepid) - Finished 25th

"It was an emotional roller-coaster for us. Going to the back of the field with a backup car obviously didn't help us any. We were a lap down to start with. We worked really hard and somewhere near halfway we put on a set of tires and the car hauled the mail. We got our lap back. We had clean air. Then we put on another set of tires and we were junk again. It went like that all day. When we put on stickers we struggled for some reason. I thought it was pretty good give and take out there today. We worked our tail off to get 25th."

RUSTY WALLACE (No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Intrepid) - Finished Eighth

"We got messed up on that one pit stop and we couldn't get it back. The jack wouldn't go under the left side of the car. I think we probably had at least a top-five car. We've had a top-five car just about every race this season, but our finishes don't show it. At least we got an eighth-place out of it today."
