Martin Truex Jr. the latest Chase driver to see changes to pit crew

Martin Truex Jr.’s No. 78 Furniture Row Racing team joins other Chase for the Sprint Cup teams with changes to its over-the-wall pit crew this weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Dave Collins, the team’s regular front-tire changer, suffered an ankle injury on Wednesday during a practice session. He will be replaced on Sunday by Josh Franko, who has been a backup pit-crew member for Michael Waltrip Racing.

Adam Hartman will take over the rear-tire changing duties, replacing Kyle Turner. Hartman has also been a backup crew member at MWR. The FRR over-the-wall crew is based out of the MWR shop.

Furniture Row’s pit crew is based out of the MWR shop in Cornelius while the team itself is based in Denver, Colo.

Chase drivers Brad Keselowski and Kyle Busch have recently seen changes made to their pit crews during the Chase.
