Menard on racing at New Hampshire Motor Speedway:
"I feel like we were robbed a little bit last week with our finish at Sonoma. We had worked out the fuel and pit strategy and were looking for a top-10 finish until we were taken out down in turn 11. This weekend, we back to the normal routine. I've enjoyed racing at Loudon in the past and have had some pretty good runs in the Nationwide car.
We've been fighting the handling in our car this season, and I know Larry (Carter) and all the guys on the No. 98 MOEN / Menards team have been working really hard at it. We just need figure out what we aren't doing right and get some better finishes. We are much better than our finishes have showed over the last few weeks. We are looking for a good run this weekend and can hopefully build some momentum going into the summer months."
Crew Chief Larry Carter on racing at New Hampshire Motor Speedway:
"I think we are battling what all teams are fighting with this new car -- turning in the center of the corner. At Loudon, because it's such a flat track that problem is perpetuated even more. We've leaned pretty hard on Ford Racing and the technology they have available to help us with this problem. We've spent a lot of time on the seven-post working on the handling. If we can unload well on Friday and have a good qualifying run, that will help us quite a bit. I think qualifying has become more important this year than it has ever before with the competition being so tight."
