Dave Blaney, driver of the No. 77 Jasper Engines Taurus, spun and hit the wall during Saturday morning's first practice session. Blaney, who was in the process of making his first lap on the track, will be forced to a back-up car after sustaining damage to the nose of his car.

DAVE BLANEY - No. 77 Jasper Engines Taurus -

"I hit something and I'm gonna say it was oil because it felt slicker than water. The car just shot around on me. I had just come out of the pits and wasn't even up to speed yet, but I know everybody else came out of the pits and went through there, so I don't know. It definitely just shot around too quick like there was oil, but there was something on the track. That, combined with cold tires, made me spin around. There was still something there from the 32 wrecking. Whether he ran through it as well or left it down, I don't know."

THE CAR WAS HURT ENOUGH TO MAKE YOU GO TO A BACK-UP.

"Yeah, I think it was just quicker for them to go to a back-up and make sure we get some practice this next time. It wasn't really hurt that bad at all, but just enough."
