DAVID GILLILAND, YATES RACING
Ford. Drive one. driver David Gilliland on New Hampshire:
"Loudon has been a pretty good track for me to race at in the past, even though my finishes may not showcase that fact. We also ran well at Phoenix earlier this year and a lot of the set-ups from Phoenix you can transfer over to your Loudon car. Loudon is a track that has a similar feel to short track racing in my mind and I really enjoy race tracks like this. We're at a fairly flat track this weekend and those are the kinds of tracks that are difficult to pass on, but if you go there with a great car, you can make anything happen. Our goal for this weekend is to leave New Hampshire with another strong performance for our No. 38 Ford. Drive one. team. We had a solid top-20 finish at Richmond last weekend, which is another track that translates over to racing at Loudon, so I'm really looking forward to this weekend's race."
Ford. Drive one. crew chief Cully Barraclough on New Hampshire:
"Track position means a lot at Loudon so we'll be focused on trying to get a solid qualifying position on Friday. Of course if you have a great car, then drivers have the ability to drive their way through the field on Sunday. Richmond and Phoenix are tracks that we go back to and review notes when it comes to setting up a car for Loudon. Those tracks have very similar traits and we're able to take a look back at what we liked at both of those tracks and apply it to this weekend. We liked our cars from Phoenix and both Richmond races, so in looking ahead to our performance for this weekend, I really think we should have another strong performance."
