Carl Edwards on racing at New Hampshire Motor Speedway:

"We are headed to New Hampshire, home of Fenway Sports Group, this weekend. There is a lot of pride on the line for all of us Roush Fenway drivers when we head that way. We've run really well at New Hampshire, we just haven't been able to run well there lately. This is an important race for us for a number of reasons, but mostly because this is the first race of the Chase the next time we come back so it would be great to run well and take those notes back for the second race up there."

Crew chief Bob Osborne on racing at New Hampshire Motor Speedway:

"Although the statistics don't show it, we have actually had very good cars and Carl has raced very well at Loudon. We have not had the best of luck and that shows in our record. It's flat, it's fast and is really a driver's track, but the driver can't do but so much - we'll have to give Carl a good car that handles well. If we do our part, he'll have no problem getting a good finish for us."

* CARL EDWARDS enters the Lenox Industrial Tools 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway 12th in the NASCAR Sprint Cup point standings, 402 markers behind point leader Kevin Harvick. In 16 starts this season, Edwards has accumulated one top-five and six top-10 finishes.

* ON THE TRACK...The No. 99 Aflac team will be bringing RK-647 this weekend to New Hampshire. Edwards raced this Ford Fusion at Phoenix in April where he started ninth and finished seventh.
