Quotes from Larry McClure, owner of the No. 4 Kodak MAX Film Monte Carlo,
"These past few weeks have proven that the Morgan-McClure Motorsports team is competitive enough to win again. We are building up steam, or momentum. The No. 4 car was good yesterday (at Talladega).
"Something flew off of one of the other cars and hit us, or we hit something that caused our radiator duct work to flatten against the radiator. We had a flat piece of aluminum against the radiator for most of the day, which prevented air from circulating into the engine. I am actually surprised the engine held up as long as it did. It finally succumbed to overheating.
"Following our strong practice sessions and qualifying effort, I thought we had a car to beat. Kevin Lepage was very happy with the car.
"Little things have bit us these past few weeks. It is a shame to have a car capable of winning a race week after week and have such bad luck.
"I am pleased with Kevin's performance. He has been a positive addition to our race team. He handles situations with class. We are negotiating a deal and hope to have some type of an announcement soon.
"We will go to California with hopes of a strong qualifying effort. Once again, we have to dig ourselves out of the hole we got into during the first few races. We will have to qualify for the race on speed, as we did not accomplish our goal of moving into the top-25 in owner's points. We have to make up 76 points to get that position. Qualifying is imperative for us at this time."

quotes on Talladega
"The No. 4 car was great. I did not even have it full throttle during the first part of the race. We had a shot at winning or at least a top-five finish.
"It was so frustrating to be in a car capable of winning and not be able to do anything with it. If we got up into the pack with the dirty air, the water temperature would rise too much. I just had to ride around and protect it. We were trying to save the car until the last few laps and then go for it. I knew we had what it would take to make it up through there.
"We will go on to California and see if we can get rid of the little things that have been preventing us from finishing in the top-five. Richmond and Charlotte are not far away. I really enjoy racing on those tracks.
"I will attempt double duty, in the Winston Cup and Busch Grand National races, at the next two events, California and Richmond. I am confident that Morgan-McClure will break into the top-five in the near future."
