* Marlin has finished in the top-10 in every race this season (points and non-points events).

* Only two drivers have two top-10 finishes in 2002 (points races): Marlin and Jeff Gordon.

* The Coors Light team will take a brand new car to Las Vegas– car #203. This car was built over the winter and is the sister car to #115, which won in Michigan and Charlotte last season. Car #203 participated in the Texas test on January 29-30. It’s been dubbed the“ West Coast car” because it’s never raced on the East Coast.

* Crew spotlight: Mike Motil aka“ Mad Mike”: Mike works as the tire specialist and catch can for the 40 entry. His hometown is Hazelton, PA. He has been with Sabco/Chip Ganassi Racing for 5 years and has worked in NASCAR for 21 years.
