Kyle Busch and Martin Truex Jr. get into it at Atlanta

Tempers flared with just two laps to go at Atlanta Motor Speedway Sunday night.

In the closing moments of the grueling 500 mile race at Atlanta, tempers boiled over between Kyle Busch and Martin Truex Jr. Busch felt wronged by Truex and took his frustration out on the rear bumper of the No. 78.

A wreck ensued and when Busch tried to flee the scene, Truex blocked his path. 'The Candyman' decided to drive through his new rival, pushing him back up and into the wall. Truex responded with a door slam and following the race's conclusion, he went to have a talk with both Busch and crew chief Dave Rogers.

As Rogers and Truex exchanged words, a less-than pleased Busch walked away without a word. Rogers told reporters afterwards that it was just one of those deals between two 'hard-nosed competitors.' If Truex feels so inclined to return the favor, we have a short track race in just a few days and as any NASCAR fan knows, those venues are the perfect for settling scores.
