IRWIN EYES JACKPOT IN LAS VEGAS FOR ONE LUCKY FAN IN NO BULL 5

LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- Kenny Irwin, driver of the No. 28 Texaco/Havoline Ford and 1998 NASCAR Winston Cup Rookie of the Year, is looking to score his first career win this weekend during the No Bull 5 event at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and make one lucky fan a millionaire. Irwin will be paired with a fan on Thursday in a ceremony at The Fremont Street Experience. If he wins Sunday's race, Irwin and the paired fan each will earn a million-dollar bonus from R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company. "I think this is a fun promotion for the fans," said Irwin. "I'm excited to finally be eligible for this. It would be great to be able to be a part of making someone a millionaire." Irwin became eligible for his first No Bull 5 bonus after finishing third in the Daytona 500, where he maneuvered through the field from his 41st starting position to become the highest-finishing Ford. This will be Irwin's third time to race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. He has more experience at the track than most of the Winston Cup veterans, who have run only in the inaugural Winston Cup event in 1998. He also ran there in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. You can bet one special fan will be hoping to join Irwin and his team in Victory Lane and be the first to congratulate and thank him.
