SCOTT RIGGS (No. 10 Valvoline/Stanley Tools Dodge Charger)

"The guys worked well with everybody on the 9 and 19 today. We were a little bit off in practice and as we always do everyone put their heads together and we picked up a lot for qualifying. I think going out late was better for us, probably not as big of an advantage as normal here with the sun being out. Luckily it was overcast for a lot of the guys. We had a good solid pickup from our practice run.

"We had a lot better cars at Dover and Loudon the last go-round than we did in the spring. I'm just proud of the way the guys are coming together. The chemistry is building and everybody is having fun. We're laughing and joking and that's what it's all about. The last two weeks took some wind out of our sails points wise, but nothing has taken the wind out of our sails for wanting to be in victory lane. It's fun right now for all of us.

"What we learned today from the other two teams, we applied to our car in qualifying. What we learned in qualifying will I think the things we learned in qualifying will help our car in race trim. I think we were a top 10 car in race trim before. I don't think our car was good enough to win, but we've got a good headstart for tomorrow. I think we'll be able to fine tune our car and be a contender this weekend."
