KASEY KAHNE QUOTES
"Kansas is one of those "cookie cutter" tracks, but it's one I don't mind making a stop at. Our team runs well at tracks like Kansas. We came up just a bit short in qualifying last year and started second. Once the race started, I thought we had a strong shot at the win, but we ended up spinning out late and finished 12th.
"These mile-and-half tracks suit my style, and with the combination of Evernham engines, bodies and crew we should have a good shot at the win. But, to leave with a strong top five would be a good day for us. Saturday's Busch race will give me a chance to get some extra seat time and hopefully see how the track will change, and then we can roll that over to Sunday's race."
