August 24, 1999 (Mooresville, N.C.) -- MB2 Motorsports announced today that Jerry Nadeau will drive the No. 36 "M&M's"® Pontiac this weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway. Regular driver Ernie Irvan, released from a Michigan hospital on Monday afternoon, continues to recuperate at his North Carolina home. "We feel fortunate that a driver of Jerry's caliber was available in Ernie's absence," said Jay Frye, General Manager of MB2 Motorsports. "We look forward to working with him and he will be in the car until Ernie is ready to return." "We're all hoping for a speedy recovery for Ernie, but I'm glad to be able to help out," Nadeau said. "I'm excited to run the "M&M's"® car this weekend. The MB2 team is a great bunch of guys."
