Nadeau started third and finished 34th after breaking a transmission in the 1999 NASCAR Winston Cup Series event at Sears Point Raceway.

Nadeau's season-high - and career-best - finish was fifth at Watkins Glen (N.Y.) International. Nadeau's best qualifying position was second at Dover (Del.) Downs International Speedway.

Nadeau's Thoughts on Sears Point Raceway: "Road courses are a challenge. You have to be on top of things all the time. You're either shifting or turning or going up and down hills in every corner and on every straight. Your hand-eye coordination has to be very strong. Plus, you have to keep an eye on the other drivers. "I feel like Sears Point and Watkins Glen are places where I may have a better chance at winning races than somewhere else since I have a lot of road course experience. But I don't want to consider myself a 'road race ace.' I want to win races at Bristol (Tenn.), Dover (Del.), Richmond (Va.) - all the tracks that are tough and demand more of the driver."
