Jerry Nadeau and Hendrick Motorsports have decided to part ways, effective immediately. Nadeau and the Hendrick Motorsports stables decided it was best for the team, due to recent lack of performance.

Nadeau took over behind the wheel of the No. 25 Chevy in 2000 and scored his first, and only victory later that year at the season ending event at Atlanta.

So far this season, Nadeau scored one top-10 finish, an eighth place, at Bristol. He is currently 28th in points.

Hendrick has yet to announce who will take over behind the wheel of the No. 25. A permanent replacement may not be announced until the off-season, as more drivers will be up for grabs at season's end.
