Jeffrey Earnhardt will make his third start of the Sprint Cup Series season with BK Racing this weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
The grandson of the late Dale Earnhardt will once again drive the No. 83 Toyota with sponsorship from Starter as BK Racing fields three entries, including those for David Ragan and Matt DiBenedetto.
It’s Earnhardt third start of the year for BK Racing. He finished 34th in his previous two starts at Talladega and Texas.
“I couldn't be more excited to have this opportunity for the last race of the season,” Earnhardt said. “Doug (Richert) is back as my crew chief and the team at BK Racing has me fired up to see how well we can do to wrap up the 2016 season.
“I enjoyed my last two races with BK and going to Homestead should be a lot of fun.”
Earnhardt has also competed this season for GoFas Racing in its No. 32 Ford. His best finish with that team was 26th last month at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
