BORIS SAID -- No. 60 SoBe No Fear Ford Fusion
HOW NERVE-WRACKING WAS IT WATCHING THAT LAST CAR GO? "I thought I was gonna pass out, but fortunately I had my No Fear Energy Drink to keep me going. It just feels great. I just didn't want to let the fans down. Since Daytona we've had so many people buying more cases to help us do more races with our SoBe No Fear Energy Drink car. Roush gave us a great engine. Frankie (Stoddard) and the boys did a great job and we had a really fast Ford Fusion today, so we beat a lot of good guys just to squeek in. I'm pretty happy to be in my second Brickyard."
YOUR LAST SCHEDULED RACE IS NEXT WEEK AT WATKINS GLEN. WHAT NEEDS TO HAPPEN IF YOU WANT TO RUN MORE RACES? "If we can keep the fans buying our energy drink and not buying that other stuff out there on the market, we can do more races and we can show Pepsi that we're actually selling product for them. So far the fans have been really supportive and maybe our underdog team might be able to keep going."
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO RACE AT INDIANAPOLIS? "It means a lot. This is a special place. As soon as I got here I walked out on the front straightaway. You look down at the stands and with all the memories here and the nostalgia here it makes the hair on your arms stand up."
NOW YOU CAN CONCENTRATE ON THE RACE. "Yeah, now we can work on race setup and just get a comfortable groove and our goal is just to be there at the end. If we can get in the top 25, that's our goal for the weekend. If we can do that and come away with some more knowledge here, then next week load our guns for Watkins Glen and hopefully get this No Fear Ford Fusion in Victory Circle there."
