Scott Wimmer on Homestead...

"They have done an incredible job on the improvements they made to the racetrack," said Wimmer. "We were fortunate to have been one of the teams that got to go down there and participate in a Goodyear tire test a couple weeks ago, so we have a little bit of knowledge heading into the weekend. The track has progressive banking and it is great. Once the cars get some rubber down on the track, you will see some pretty competitive racing in more than one groove. Goodyear is bringing a new tire this weekend and it's a little bit softer than the one we're running now. The only thing that was a little confusing to us was that the more laps we ran, the faster we got. We made a 60 lap run and saw faster times late in the run than we saw early in the run. I hope we can get the car handling pretty decent off the truck and then spend all day Wednesday fine tuning."

Frank Stoddard on Homestead...

"We'll have a good amount of track time before we have to get ready for qualifying on Friday," said Stoddard. "NASCAR opened the track for us a couple days early and we'll have a good seven hours to test the car on Wednesday. I hope we can get the CAT car handling well for Scott. I felt like our test went fairly well a couple weeks ago. We were off to one of the other cars down there until late in the second day when we made a long run and we had closed the gap significantly by then. We'll see how we stack up with everyone else on Wednesday."

Scott Wimmer on Rockingham...

"It's not at all what we wanted, but it was definitely a learning day for the entire team," said Wimmer. "We were struggling right off the truck and we had a bad qualifying effort and then it looked like we weren't going to get any track time on Saturday and that worried us. We were able to get a short practice, but we were still off on the setup. We were terrible to start, but as the race continued though, the car got better and we were able to run some decent times. It's too bad we couldn't have started the race like that because we would have been in good shape. But, we'll probably go back there and test and see what we can do next year."

Frank Stoddard on Rockingham...

"Certainly, I am disappointed with that run at Rockingham," said Stoddard. "We were just off to start and it took us a long time to get the car better for him. We changed a lot of things and I think it was halfway decent by the end of the race. We may have even been able to finish a little better if we hadn't had an alternator problem in the middle of the race and been forced to change batteries. But, it was a good day for pit stops and a good day for adjustments. The driver gave great feedback and every change we made the car responded and that was a direct result of the driver."
