Elliott Sadler on Homestead-Miami Speedway: "The end of the season is always a little tough, especially when you are moving from one opportunity to another. On the one hand, you're excited about the end of the season and what the future holds and the opportunity to spend a little time with your family, but then you always seem to spend a little time reflecting on the past as well. Regardless of what the future holds for everyone on this No. 19 Stanley team, we'll go to Homestead and do the best job we can possibly do. It's just another chance to run well and bring the attention to our sponsors that they deserve. I've had a lot of great people backing me this year and we're going to do everything we can to give them something to celebrate this weekend."
Crew Chief Todd Parrott's Thoughts on HMS: "It's going to be a bittersweet race. It's the last race of the year and it's Elliott's last race with Richard Petty Motorsports and I know he's looking forward to the future. He's starting another chapter of his career, but I've enjoyed working with him and the No. 19 team since Chicago. I've thoroughly enjoyed getting to know all these guys and working with everyone and getting back with Elliott. I don't think we've gotten the results that we thought we were going to get, but we've done well. We got a pole and things have gone pretty well at times.
"It's Homestead and it's a place that's fun. I think the race will end somewhere around dark and the vision getting into turn one gets a little worse as the sun goes down. You fight a little bit of loose in the corners and tight in the center there. You just try to get a good balance. Track position will be important as it is every week. The pit crew has to be on their game."
Chassis History: The No. 19 RPM team has prepared chassis No. 282 for this weekend's event. This particular Ford Fusion was last utilized at Kansas Speedway where the team qualified inside the top 15.
