Reed Sorenson and the No.41 Target Dodge (NSCS)

Helping a Teammate's Cause: Sorenson will be attending the BeLive Charity Gala, hosted by Connie and Juan Pablo Montoya, on Tues., Nov. 11 at Jungle Island in Miami. The event proceeds will benefit Connie and Juan's foundation, Formula Smiles, and other charities to help raise awareness for Montoya's home country of Colombia.

HMS History: This will be Sorenson's fourth NSCS start at Homestead-Miami Speedway. His best finish of 16th and best start of 11th came in 2006 at the 1.5-mile oval.

Last Race: Sorenson and the No.41 Target Dodge started 12th and appeared to have a car that would contend for a solid finish last Sunday at Phoenix International Raceway, but bad luck struck the No.41 team when Kyle Busch's car made slight contact with Sorenson's Dodge, resulting in a blown tire. Sorenson returned to the track 32nd, four laps down to the leaders. Despite several wrecks during the final 30 laps, Sorenson kept his nose clean and went on to finish 31st.

Points Update: The No.41 entry is 32nd in the series' owner standings with 2,774 points.

Juan Pablo Montoya and No.42 Juicy Fruit® Slim Pack™ Dodge (NSCS) and the No.42 POWERADE Dodge (NNS)

How Sweet It Is: The bright yellow color of Wrigley's Juicy Fruit® Slim Pack™ will adorn the hood of the No.42 Dodge Charger for the 2008 NSCS season finale this weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

HMS History: Montoya returns to the site of his first NSCS race, Homestead-Miami Speedway (2006). This will be Montoya's third NSCS event and second NNS event at his home track.

POWERADE: Montoya will debut the No. 42 POWERADE Dodge at his home track in Homestead, Fla. It will be the first paint scheme for the sports drink with Montoya at the venue where the Colombian made his NASCAR Sprint Cup debut in November 2006. Montoya has just one start in the Nationwide Series at HMS, starting 31st and finishing 14th on Nov. 18, 2006. Montoya will be driving a second CGRFS NNS entry at HMS, while the No. 40 Fastenal Dodge will be piloted by Raybestos Rookie of the Year contender Clauson.

2008 Cup Standings: Montoya is 25th in the NASCAR Sprint Cup driver standings after his 17th-place finish at PIR last Sunday.

Bryan Clauson and the No.40 Fastenal Dodge (NNS)

Close Call!: Clauson is now second in the NNS Raybestos® Rookie of the Year race behind fellow NNS rookie Landon Cassill. The two teens were tied going into last weekend's run at PIR, but Cassil's sixth-place effort advanced him ahead of Clauson. The two are now six points apart (185-179). Clauson has grabbed Rookie of the Race honors seven times in 20 total starts this 2008 season, most recently winning the title at Lowe's Motor Speedway. Clauson has also claimed rookie honors at Kansas Speedway in September; Auto Club Speedway in August.; Daytona International Speedway this past July and February; Kentucky Speedway in June; and Richmond International Raceway this past May.

Clauson's History at HMS: This weekend will mark Clauson's first NASCAR effort at Homestead-Miami Speedway. The rookie racer embarked on his NASCAR career last fall, competing at five tracks, including Richmond International Raceway, Kansas Speedway, Lowe's Motor Speedway, Memphis Motorsports Park, and Texas Motor Speedway.

NNS Owner Standings Update: The No.40 Fastenal Dodge Team is 20th in the NNS owner standings. Altogether, the Fastenal drivers and crew have grabbed three poles, three top-five and three top-10 finishes throughout the 2008 season.

No.41 Target Dodge (NSCS): Chassis #806. This chassis is the same car Sorenson and the No.41 team ran at Las Vegas Motor Speedway earlier this season to an 18th-place finish. In addition, the Target Team raced this car in the All-Star Showdown at Lowe's Motor Speedway in May. Sorenson was racing in the top five prior to another car forcing him into the outside wall. The car also ran in Michigan (June), Bristol (August), and Atlanta (October).

No.42 Juicy Fruit® Slim Pack™ Dodge (NSCS): Chassis #819. Montoya will drive chassis #819 this weekend, the same chassis used for the No. 40 at the Darlington, Charlotte (May), Las Vegas and Michigan (June) races this year. It has a best finish of 31st at Charlotte with a best qualifying run of 14th at Darlington, both of those times Sterling Marlin was behind the wheel. Montoya also tested this chassis at Charlotte in September.

No.40 Fastenal Dodge (NNS): Chassis #754. This car has only been entered in two other races this year--Michigan International Speedway (MIS) this past August and Lowe's Motor Speedway (LMS) this past October. Dario Franchitti was behind the wheel and drove the car to a 13th-place finish (started 19th) at MIS and Clauson finished 30th at LMS (started 24th).

No.42 POWERADE Dodge (NNS): Chassis #753. This is the first time this season chassis 753 will be showcased at the track.
