Gordon Has Busy Week In Delaware

Winston Cup Jeff Gordon keeps a busy schedule each week as he competes in NASCARS top division.
As the series headed to Dover, Jeff `s schedule included spending time with the employees of his primary sponsor, Dupont.
"Dupont certainly does a lot for us throughout the year, noted Gordon, and it is nice to go there and see their employees. With Wilmington so close to Dover, many of the employees make the trip to the race on Sunday. The best thanks I can give them would be another win"
Jeff spent time with the company employees on Thursday capping off what has been a busier than usual week.
Earlier in the week, Jeff was in Indianapolis to assist in the announcement that comedian Jay Leno would be the honorary driver of the pace car for this years Brickyard 400.
Gordon, who lived in the shadow of the speedway, and has won the event twice, including the inaugural event in 1994 was there representing Chevrolet, who has supplied the pace car each running of the 400.
Leno welcome Jeff, and praised his driving ability, but added, "He needs help in the joke department".
With or with out a sense of humor, Jeff's week continued as he was nominated for the GQ award in the Sports and Individual Athlete Category.
Jeff topped off the week by dominating the MBNA 400 at Dover Downs, and scoring his 54th victory.

Jeff's busy schedule continues, as he heads to Florida to film some promotion spots at Daytona International speedway, prior to next weekends event in Michigan.
