Goodyear to hold two-day tire test at Indianapolis
Goodyear has a two-day test set up next week at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Four-time Brickyard 400 winner Jimmie Johnson leads the list of drivers participating in the test scheduled for next Tuesday and Wednesday at the 2.5-mile. Former NASCAR Cup champion Brad Keselowski, Denny Hamlin and David Ragan are also expected to attend in preparation for the July 23 event.
The Indy exercise marks the fourth of eight Goodyear tire tests scheduled for the Monster Energy Cup tour in 2017.
The fifth test of the year will be held at Kentucky Speedway on May 8-9.
Jamie McMurray, Austin Dillon, Kurt Busch and Erik Jones were selected by NASCAR to take part in the test in the Blue Grass State. The Quaker State 400 is scheduled for July 8.
