Statesville, N.C. (March 30, 2010) - Front Row Motorsports and Long John Silver's will once again partner this season to help bring the popular Long John Silver's $1 Baja Fish Taco to NASCAR fans across the nation. Long John Silver's announced that its $1 Baja Fish Taco colors will be the primary sponsor of the No. 34 Ford driven by 2003 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series champion Travis Kvapil; Kvapil will carry these colors at the Autism Speaks 400 at the Dover International Speedway on May 16 and the All-Star Showdown at the Charlotte Motor Speedway on May 22.
"We are so thrilled to support Travis and the No. 34 team with the Long John Silver's $1 Baja Fish Tacos colors," said Emil Brolick, President of Long John Silver's. "The brand has been a long time fan of NASCAR and we look forward to rallying behind the team."
NASCAR and Long John Silver's fans everywhere are encouraged to help guarantee that Kvapil and the No. 34 $1 Baja Fish Taco team will compete in the All-Star race following the All-Star Showdown by submitting their votes now at www.nascar.com/promos/allstar/2010/vote/.
"There is nothing that I'd love to do more than carry the $1 Baja Fish Taco colors in the All-Star Challenge this year," said Kvapil. "I need all the fans of Long John Silver's to get behind us to make that happen. Our goal is race our way in, but the fans can help guarantee us a spot with the fan vote. It would be special to see that happen."
Fans can cast unlimited votes today through May 22 one hour before the start of the All-Star race one of three ways.
Sprint customers can vote using the NASCAR Sprint Cup Mobile application on their Sprint or Nextel devices. As an added incentive for customers, every wireless vote submitted from a Sprint or Nextel device counts double towards a driver's vote total.
Fans also cast a ballot by logging on to www.nascar.com or visiting the Sprint Experience display, located in the midway at all NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races.
