2 RUSTY WALLACE
PC-35 debuted at Bristol back in the spring and this will mark the car's fourth race...car qualified 4th for the Food City 500 and finished 7th...also ran here at Dover in June when Rusty started 3rd and led one lap before being forced back into the pits for some loose lugnuts...that cost him track position and resulted in a 21st-place finish...last appearance for this piece came at Bristol and it was strong all weekend...qualified 9th and led twice for 123 laps before finishing 5th.

6 MARK MARTIN
Martin and this car have had good success in 2001...JR-88 sat on the pole at Bristol this past spring in its NWC debut, but suffered a bad break when Jeff Burton's car hit the wall coming out of turn four and collected it as well...finished 34th in that event, but bounced back here at Dover in June with a 9th-place run...car backed that effort up a few weeks later at Pocono with a 5th-place effort...its last effort came at Bristol last month and Martin called it the best car he had all year, but a blown right-front tire sent him into the wall and a 37th-place finish.

7 MIKE WALLACE
Wallace will have Buddy Barnes and Scott Lepage making the on-track decisions this week after crew chief Jim Long left the team a few days ago...Wallace will have the same car he drove at Bristol a few weeks ago when he finished 31st...it's also the same car he had here at Dover which resulted in a 28th-place showing.

11 BRETT BODINE
Brett has had some good luck with this car in the past...the last time he drove it came at Loudon in July and ended with a 13th-place run...he let older brother Geoffrey drive it at Bristol a few weeks ago...Geoffrey, making his 2001 NWC debut, qualified the car 13th and finished 27th after getting caught up in a couple of on-track incidents.

12 JEREMY MAYFIELD
This will mark the second time Mayfield and this particular car have been paired together...they debuted at California in April and had a great weekend...Mayfield qualified 3rd and finished 5th after leading one time for five laps...car has not raced since.

17 MATT KENSETH
Dover is one of Kenseth's best race tracks as evidenced by his xxx finishes in ss career NWC races...will look to keep that streak of success going with car #15 this weekend...this car debuted brand new at California earlier this year and finished 17th...its only other event came last month at Michigan when Kenseth finished a season-best 4th (started 33rd).

21 ELLIOTT SADLER
Sadler said that if he could take the car to every track the rest of the season he would be happy because it's his favorite in the Wood Brothers fleet ...car has run five times in '01 with the last time being at the Brickyard 400 ...finished 23rd in that event...the duo registered a 15th-place finish at Chicago and also posted top-20 efforts with this Taurus at Vegas (20th), Texas (16th) and Charlotte (19th).

26 JIMMY SPENCER
The last time Spencer drove this Taurus was a few weeks ago at Bristol and he ended up 35th after suffering engine problems...car has raced 6 times in 2001, including The Winston Open in May...had a good run at Pocono in July as well as it qualified 7th and finished 12th...car has also competed this year at Texas and Dover...got caught up in an accident at Texas and finished 38th, and then qualified 14th at Dover, but got involved in another accident and finished 37th.

28 RICKY RUDD
Rudd has used this Taurus exclusively at the concrete tracks this season... debuted at Bristol in the spring as a brand new piece...qualified 14th for the Food City 500 and finished 10th...competed here at Dover in June, qualifying 5th and finishing 10th once again...at Bristol a few weeks ago, Rudd started 5th and finished 4th.

32 RICKY CRAVEN
Craven has brought the same car that competed in back-to-back races at Pocono and Indy earlier this year...finished 10th in the July Pocono event and backed that up with a 9th-place run at the Brickyard...those are the only two races this Taurus has on its resume.

66 TODD BODINE
The car Bodine will drive this weekend has two starts on its resume this season...ran in the first Bristol race and started 5th, but got involved in an accident and finished 32...car was stripped and had a new body put on for last month's Darlington race...transmission problems, however, sent Bodine to the garage early and a 40th-place finish.

77 ROBERT PRESSLEY
Pressley will have the same car that ran at Bristol a few weeks ago...got involved in an accident during the middle stages of the event, but it has been repaired and deemed ready for this weekend...ended up with a 28th-place finish at Bristol, but this car also ran at Las Vegas earlier this season...finished 16th in that event, which was the same result he had with this piece at Homestead in 2000.

88 DALE JARRETT
The last time Jarrett drove this car was last month at Bristol...qualified 7th and finished 6th without leading any laps...this piece had been primarily been reserved for Rockingham, especially after winning the fall event at that track last season....returned to Rockingham this past spring and finished 10th...this will be the car's third start in 2001.

90 HUT STRICKLIN
Stricklin drove this car quite a bit during the early portion of the season, but it hasn't seen the track of late...finished 28th with this Taurus in Atlanta and then posted a 26th-place run a couple of weeks later at Texas...also ran at California in May when Stricklin qualified 30th and finished 10th...last start was at Darlington a couple of weeks ago when Stricklin finished 32nd.

96 ANDY HOUSTON
Houston will have two more starts this season -- here at Dover and next week at Kansas City...the team is hoping to make this WC24's first official race, even though it has been on-track before...this is the car Houston tried to qualify with at Darlington a couple of weeks ago but did not make the field.

97 KURT BUSCH
Busch and his 97 Sharpie team are breaking in a brand new Taurus this weekend...Busch got a feel for the car three weeks ago during the team's test session at Kansas Speedway, but this will mark the first race for car #42.

99 JEFF BURTON
Burton has brought a winning piece to Dover this weekend...this is the same car that he drove to victory in the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte in May...led the most laps in that event (125), including the final 63...in addition to that win, the car also has a win at Las Vegas in 2000 as part of the Winston No Bull 5 bonus program...car also has a 7th-place run at Michigan this year to its credit...it's last start came at Pocono in June (finished 10th).
