"I think it'll probably be 25th if the clouds come in because the track is gonna pick up so much. That's way faster than what we ran in practice, so that's good. At this place, people are gonna end up where they belong and hopefully we're fast enough to be up front."
BILL ELLIOTT -- No. 21 Motorcraft Ford Fusion (Qualified 26th)
"These guys do an awesome job on this team. They work so hard to give me good pieces and that's what it's all about. Now I feel like I can halfway communicate back and forth. We still missed it. I felt really bad about Michigan with the way we ended up running there at the end of the day. Then we came back to Bristol and we were decent. That was a COT race and I hadn't been to Bristol since '03, so the things I look at is the improvement to the team each and every week. Motorcraft and all the good sponsors they've got on this team -- Air Force and Little Debbie's -- all those people make this team what it is and to be a single-car team out there among the four-car stables, we just can't run over to this guy or that guy and get a starting point. That's why we had to burn so much of our practice early today on race stuff because we want to be better Sunday afternoon. We can take a chance on that if we can get in because I do have a past champion's to fall back on, but I want to qualify in the race. It's kind of a double-edged sword, but we're doing the best we can and hopefully we'll have a good run come Sunday afternoon."
GREG BIFFLE -- No. 16 Aflac Ford Fusion (Qualified 10th) --
"I'm pretty happy with it. The car was a lot tighter than I thought it was gonna be. I turned into the corner a little bit early and I should have waited. I didn't know it was gonna be that tight, so I kind of pinched the corner off and slid out a little bit. I had to wait for the gas between three and four, but overall it was pretty good."
DAVID GILLILAND -- No. 38 M&M's Ford Fusion (Qualified 14th)
Our M&M's Ford Fusion made big steps in practice. We unloaded and weren't very good at all. I was nervous, but Todd and all the guys just stuck together. Everybody kept digging and working toward getting it better. Nobody questioned anybody and just kept working towards the common goal of getting our M&M's Ford Fusion as fast as we could. It's the best I've qualified here and I'm real excited. We ran this car at Michigan and it ran real well there, so I'm really excited and looking forward to the race on Sunday night."
