ON THE TRACK: "The seams on the track are like ice out there. As soon as you hit a seam you lose like three or four places. It's a real shame. I feel for the fans right now -- they're all sitting here and have stood around all day and we're not getting any kind of racing."
ON THE CAR: "The Target Dodge is a little free, but we're working on it. I don't think we're going to go racing much more tonight. I don't know."
ON THE WEATHER: "It's bloody freezing. It's California and I'm freezing. We've been fighting this weather all week and now I'm going to go find myself someplace warm to hang out."
KASEY KAHNE (No. 9 Budweiser Dodge Charger)
TALK ABOUT YOUR RUN SO FAR? "I just want to race and get it over with and get in all the laps we can. We've been fast. Our Budweiser Dodge has really been good. We started 20th and have been running in the top-five all night and feel good about that.
"We've tried about everything we can so far and we think that we've found our sweet-spot for the setup and for this track under the conditions we have today. We're going to go back to that (setup) and hopefully get some more racing in."
HOW HAVE THE HANDLING CHARACTERISTICS CHANGED OVER THE NIGHT? "It's stayed similar for me. It was cloudy and cool when we started- it's a similar racetrack - but it keeps raining and washes off a lot of the rubber that gets laid down and makes it difficult. We got a little tight in the center of the corner, but that's about it."
