"This team has some great memories from Homestead - we celebrated two straight Busch Series championships there. It will be great to go back again, but we also have to be realistic. We have never raced there in a Winston Cup event - only the Busch Series - so in some ways it's all a wild guess for us. You take the notes from when you were there before, but it really doesn't translate to the Cup cars. You make your best guess before you get there, and then hope that you're competitive right off the truck." <pre> This Week's Race What: Pennzoil 400, Winston Cup Race 33 of 34 Where: Homestead Miami Speedway When: Sunday, November 11, 2000 Watch: NBC, 12:30 p.m. Eastern

The telecast from the tropical, aqua-splashed Homestead circuit outside of Miami will be seen on NBC for the second year in a row, but it will mark a "dress rehearsal" of sorts for the new 2001 NASCAR television package. Fox Sports and NBC will each televise half of the events on the calendar beginning next season, and have vowed to work together to promote the sport and bring new technology and innovations to the race telecasts. Many of the major players for next year's coverage will be in place for NBC's Homestead coverage.
