Paul Menard on Dover: "We've run well the past couple of weeks in our Menards Ford Fusion, but don't really have the finishes to prove it, so we need to get ourselves back on track and try to make sure we're around at the end of this one. It's a little frustrating, but I'm proud of the attitude Slugger and the guys have every week. With this group, a little bit of misfortune seems to make us stronger as a team and that isn't the way it always goes.

"Dover is a great track and can be a lot of fun to race on. You just hope you've got the right setup in the car come race time because if you don't, it can be a really long day at Dover. It's a great place to race when you're running well and your car is responding to changes and handling like you want it to, but if it's not, it can be a brutal 400 miles."

Crew Chief Slugger Labbe's Thoughts on Dover: "Dover is a really fun track. The speeds are high and there's a ton of banking and it's really just a unique place. Plus, you've got the horse track and the casino and there's a lot to do in the area. I actually wish we raced there four times a year.

"The spoiler will make a bit of a difference this week because having more downforce will help. We tend to fight loose off the corners there, so having the spoiler may help us. Another thing is that the track has expansion joints in the surface. As the race goes on, the expansion joints will fill with rubber and the front tires will get to bouncing, so we have to be careful not to be too aggressive with the shock package."

Chassis History: Crew chief Slugger Labbe and the No. 98 Richard Petty Motorsports crew have prepared chassis No. 560 for this weekend's race on the one-mile oval. This is a brand new Ford Fusion.

Notes: Zecol will make its first appearance on the hood of the No. 98 Richard Petty Motorsports Ford Fusion this weekend at Dover International Speedway. Zecol offers the most innovative automotive chemical line in the industry. Their unique product mix offers competitively priced, high quality additives, cleaners and functional fluids along with winter commodities and bulk sizes to meet the needs of the professional mechanic and retail consumer.

The No. 98 team and Paul Menard spent all day Tuesday testing at Gresham Motorsports Park (formerly Peach State Speedway) near Jefferson, Georgia.

Menard has made five Sprint Cup Series starts at Dover International Speedway and has finished outside of the top 22 on only one occasion. In addition, he has qualified inside the top 15 twice. Menard has also competed in seven NASCAR Nationwide Series events and has posted three top-15 finishes, including a sixth-place run in last fall's event.
