MARK MARTIN - No. 6 Viagra Taurus (Qualified 12th)

"I hoped to run a little quicker than practice. Golly, the car was good and I got an incredible lap, so you've got to take that and go on. Practice showed pretty good for qualifying and I was hoping for a little bit better than that because that's gonna put us back some, but I drove the fool out of it and the car was good."

HOW DO YOU FEEL GOING INTO THE WEEKEND? "I couldn't have a lot more things going for me than this right now. I've got my favorite car, my favorite track, a great engine under the hood and a great pit crew on pit road, so what else could a guy ask for?"

ELLIOTT SADLER - No. 38 M&M's Taurus (Qualified 4th)

"They brought me another great race car again this weekend. Usually, I don't qualify too good with this car, but when we untape it, it's gonna be bad on Sunday. For us to qualify this good, I can't wait. I think that's gonna be somewhere in the top 10 where we can see 'em and we'll go from there, but I'm very excited about the race this weekend coming off a great run at New Hampshire and we'll try to keep this momentum going."

YOU HAVEN'T HAD GOOD LUCK HERE. IS IT TIME TO TURN THAT AROUND? "Yeah, and I've heard that about every race track I've been to this year. 'Your record is no good here. What are you all looking for?' We're looking for a win every weekend. We think we're gonna better any other performance I've ever had here at Dover this weekend, so I think we'll be in good shape come Sunday morning."

DALE JARRETT - No. 88 UPS Taurus (Qualified 11th)

"We didn't do a lot of qualifying runs. We worked mostly on race setup first thing. This is a brand new race car and we wanted to kind of get a feel for it and see what it wanted, so we only made a couple of runs in qualifying trim. Both of those we picked up each time until we went just a little bit further with the changes that we made. Rusty Wallace and I were talking earlier, a lap around here is exciting. It's always been fast, but I think you feel speed more here than anywhere and you just literally have to drive the heck out of the car and they gave me something I could do that with."

HOW CLOSE TO YOU GET TO THE WALL HERE? "I told Mike (Ford) that I used up every bit of the race track that I was allowed here coming out of both corners. You're right against the wall. To run a fast lap, you get back in the gas so early that you're carrying so much speed off the corner that you literally -- each time it's just paper thin, the amount of distance that you have there, so it makes it fun and exciting for 400 laps."

CARL EDWARDS - No. 99 Roush Racing Taurus (Qualified 15th)

"That's Bob Osborne and the guys on this team. Bob's an unbelievable engineer and a great crew chief. We've been doing race practice all morning and we threw a qualifying setup underneath it and we gambled. We got one run and we ran pretty slow, but that's the beauty of being here at Roush Racing. We looked at everybody else's setups and we kind of took some gambles there and Bob and the guys hit it right on the head. If I would have drove with a little more confidence, we would have been a lot better, but that was an awesome lap for me."

WHAT ABOUT THE TRAVEL THIS WEEKEND FROM LAS VEGAS? "It's gonna be awesome. I love this stuff and I can't thank Jack and everybody enough for letting me run these races that are on the opposite sides of the country. We're getting ready to head out right now on Matt Kenseth's plane and get in that SuperChips Ford in the morning and, hopefully, have another great run in that truck. It's going well over there and then we'll be back here on Sunday to run the Cup race, so I can't get enough. This is great."

GREG BIFFLE - No. 16 National Guard/Subway Taurus (Qualified 19th) - "Doug and the guys have been working on the National Guard car and got it a little bit better for me. My Busch qualifying was horrible and came over here and I was nervous about this. I spun out and wrecked here qualifying and had to take a provisional back in the spring time, so it was just a cautious lap. That got us in there and will probably get us a top 15 starting spot, so we're pretty excited about it."

RICKY RUDD - No. 21 Keep It Genuine/Motorcraft Taurus (Qualified 14th) - "I'm real happy. We've had a really good race car the last three or four weeks, but we just can't seem to get the end result that we need. Fatback and these guys are coming together and I'm real pleased with that. That's not a pole, but it's like a pole for the way we've been running up until about four weeks ago."

HOW KEY IS ATTITUDE AND CONFIDENCE? "That's a big part of it. We had a lot of key ingredients, but we were just missing a couple of key personnel to turn it around. It's not like everything has been changed. We've just brought in two guys and it has taken off. I can't say enough. Each week that Fatback and these guys are working together, this stuff is gonna get better."

KURT BUSCH - No. 97 Sharpie/IRWIN Taurus (Qualified 13th)

"That was a great pickup for our Sharpie Ford - just one lap we needed. It could have been one of those helluva laps - whether it would have went on the pole or whether we went for the backup (car). You never know which way. Dover is a tough place. We qualify good here most of the time, but just haven't finished it off in our race, so we're gonna try two different setups tomorrow morning and then in the second practice go with one of those setups. Overall, it's a good start to the weekend."

HOW MANY DAYS DID YOU ENJOY LAST WEEK'S WIN? "Sunday night my brain went right to Dover and it went right to Talladega, right to Kansas and all the other tracks. Monday when I got to the shop everybody had a spring in their step and I saw it, so I used Monday as a great way to celebrate our day. We had a lot of interviews to do and TV shows here and there, but on Tuesday when you wake up you've got to make sure that everything is in gear for the next few tracks. We're testing so much that it's hard to keep up."

MATT KENSETH - No. 17 DEWALT Tools Taurus (Qualified 8th)

"I wish we would have run better because we lost a little bit from what we practiced. Still, it's a lot better than what we usually do so it was OK. Our car was real, real fast in race trim so I was real happy with that. In qualifying I knew if we hit it exactly right that we would have a shot at the top five and if we missed it a little bit we would be tenth or so and we missed it just a little bit."
