KASEY KAHNE (No. 9 Dodge Dealers/UAW Dodge Avenger) -- 4th
"That was a good lap for us. I was slipping around a little bit and really didn't want to go another lap. I was happy with one. It's not going to be the pole, but it was still a good lap. I'm looking forward to tomorrow's practice to try to get our UAW//Dodge Dealers Dodge ready to race. It was slippery today, but in practice the Avenger was fun. It was pretty good center off. It turned the corner really good, and it handled good. This is a fun track for me. I really like the way we dive into the corners."
JUAN PABLO MONTOYA (No. 42 Texaco/Havoline Dodge Avenger) 16th
"I really only ran one lap. It was a lot tighter than it was in practice. I got in the gas and I just got a little loose coming out of the corner. It was a good lap I think we had more in the car, but everybody on the Texaco/Havoline Dodge team did an amazing job today.
DAVID STREMME (No. 40 Coors Light Dodge Avenger) 34th
"It was way too loose. We've got a lot of work left to do with our COT program."
REED SORENSON (No. 41 Target Dodge Avenger) 28th
"We changed a bunch of stuff for qualifying trim and couldn't even make a lap. We changed it all back over for qualifying. We were about dead last in qualifying, so it was a big pickup for me. If we could have done a couple of qualifying runs in practice we could have probably done a lot better, but we picked up about half a second. We were late getting through tech, but we made a lot of changes and I'm glad that's over with. Now we can get ready for Sunday."
