KURT BUSCH (No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Charger) Finished 5th
"A top-five finish is surprising due to the fact we had a little trouble midway through the race. We definitely had a strong car. Our Miller Lite Dodge was steady and we bounced back from those mid-race troubles. We were not in contention for the lead. We were about a fifth- or sixth-place car. We had some damage, so we were just looking for a top 10. We definitely needed a solid run tonight just to give us that confidence we're going to be OK, but we still have some work to do heading down this stretch run.
"It was a good run for our Miller Lite Dodge tonight. We had a tire shred early in the race and then we had a problem with David Ragan when guys tried to go four-wide. I went from OK to bad right there, but we came in and made some changes to make the car looser. You just have to let it hang out and let 'er rip. I was just hoping to hang on for a top 10. We got fifth tonight and that was more than we expected."
IT HAD TO BE TOUGH TONIGHT TO RACE ON AN AWFUL SLIPPERY RACE TRACK? "It is cool to race on such a slippery surface. We're all slipping and sliding. It's not the old days, but these cars are sliding quite a bit and you have to be a man to wrestle these things. Tony Stewart did the best job tonight."
PAT TRYSON (Crew Chief, No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Charger)
"It was a good night. We were real good early and then got a little damage in that wreck and it made the car a little tight. We didn't have the speed we had earlier. All-in-all, to come home fifth is good. It was a good night points wise. That's the big picture part of it. We would have liked to have won, but we'll take fifth."
ELLIOTT SADLER (No. 19 Stanley Dodge Charger) Finished 10th
"Man, what can I say, this team tonight had to overcome so much. We had radio problems at the beginning of the race, lost some spots on pit road under weird circumstances and just got stuck in the outside lane on the final restart. Honestly, some things just didn't go our way, but our pit stops were awesome to help us regain some spots and we still got a top-10. We were hoping for better and if it'd had stayed green; we would have almost had a top-five. This team deserved better tonight for all their hard work, but we'll take a top-10."
KASEY KAHNE (No. 9 Budweiser Dodge Charger) Finished 15th
"It was a decent day for our Budweiser Dodge tonight. We just struggled a bit with speed on the straightaway, but were fast in the corners which made it tough to race all night. It's what we had."
HOW DID YOU SURVIVE THE BIG 13-CAR WRECK? "I'm not sure we survived the big wreck. We finished the race, but it was an awful hard hit for a stock car that I took when I got caught up in that wreck (at the end). To get a 15th- place finish and gain in the driver point standings is pretty cool. It could have been a lot worse."
DAVID STREMME (No. 12 Penske Dodge Charger) Finished 35th
"A tough break for our Penske Dodge. We were working our way up to the front when I got pushed down to the bottom groove and got bumped from behind from a pack of cars. It looked like the 9 car (Kasey Kahne) was getting hit from behind and pushed into me. That pushed me into (Jamie) McMurray and then the car in front which shot me into the fence. It wasn't Kasey's fault. That's just bump drafting."
