Named in January, 1995 to drive USAir/Jasper Engines Ford Thunderbird owned by D.K. Ulrich... Competing this year for MAXX Race Cards Rookie of the Year... Four-time qualifier for Indianapolis 500, making debut in Winston Cup racing this year... tested Ulrich-owned cars in 1994 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway... Has won in nearly every series in which he's competed, including 11 IMSA GTP victories, 24 Hours of Daytona in 1990, British Formula 3, Supervees, Formula Pacific, Formula Fords and quarter midgets... From 1988-92, he drove for Tom Walkinshaw in IMSA Camel GT Series. Relationship proved to be one of most successful in that series' history as Jones recorded 60 top-10 finishes in 73 starts (81 percent).
