Post Qualifying Press Conference Notes - Top Raybestos Rookie Candidate:
"Our car was really good in the final practice and we probably could have qualified about second or third, but that would have been about the best it would have been. With what we've got in the Kellogg's Chevrolet right now and the way it handled during qualifying and I think it's going to be a pretty good race car. We had to loosen it up just because we weren't going to be as loose as we needed to be for the race."
WHAT DOES THIS DO FOR YOUR TEAM'S MOMENTUM?
"It brings it up. We had a great run a couple of weeks ago in Phoenix. We finished eighth. Last weekend we were just hanging out in the back and then decided to make a little bit of headway to see what we could do and the big one happened. Coming into this race here at Darlington - obviously it's a tough place. You come here just to race the race track. With me being a rookie, it's going to be a little bit difficult - especially running 500 miles. But we'll do the best job we can. Qualifying sixth is definitely a momentum-booster for us. If we can finish in the top 10, that'll be a boost for us as well."
DO YOU LIKE THIS RACE TRACK?
"It's definitely a cool race track. I enjoy coming here. It's a lot of fun. It's challenging. The first time I came here, I finished second in the Busch Series. The second time I came here I sat on the pole and had a decent run going. The third time I came here it wasn't quite the charm it needed to be and we ended up wrecking. So this will be my forth time and the first time in a Cup car so we're going to see what we can do and hopefully have a decent run tomorrow night."
