BigMac, "Too Tough to Tame": McMurray has a total of nine NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) starts at the track labeled "Too Tough to Tame." He has a best starting position of third in 2007, and three top-10 finishes, including two fourth-place finishes. All of which occurred while driving for Chip Ganassi. McMurray has also led 79 laps in NSCS competition at Darlington. In nine career Nationwide Series starts, McMurray has accumulated three top-five and one win, which came during the Fall of 2004.

Recap Richmond: Jamie McMurray and the No. 1 Bass Pro Shops team started eighth and ran in the top-15 for 262 of 400 laps with an average running position of 11th this past weekend at Richmond International Raceway, which included running as high as the fourth position for nearly 170 laps. The team finished in the 19th-position after handling issues and long green flag runs saw McMurray steadily fall off the pace.

In the Points: Jamie McMurray and the No. 1 team currently sit 19th in the 2010 NSCS Championship standings, just 109 points out of 12th -- the cutoff for the Chase.

Meet the Team: Visit the Chevrolet display stage located outside Darlington Raceway where the No. 1 McDonald's Pit Crew will be signing autographs this Saturday, May 8th from 4:45 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Mothers Day: McMurray, along with many other members of the NASCAR Community well celebrate Mother's Day trackside by welcoming their mothers as participants in the Pre-Race Driver Introduction ceremonies. McMurray's mother Melanie Sue McMurray will help welcome her son as he is introduced to the thousands of NASCAR fans in attendance. She will then participate in the call to start engines.

Honoring Our Hall of Fame Inductees: Jamie McMurray and the No. 1 McDonald's team will carry a special decal on the TV Panel of their No.1 Chevrolet in honor of Inaugural NASCAR Hall of Fame inductee, Bill France Jr.

No. 1 McDonald's Chevrolet (NSCS): Chassis #1006. Crew Chief Kevin "Bono" Manion has elected to bring chassis #1006 to Darlington this weekend. This chassis is brand new.
