Circle Sport to pay tribute to the late Junie Donlavey with special paint scheme

The team will switch from the No. 33 to the No. 90 for this weekend's race.

In June, NASCAR lost legendary car owner Junie Donlavey. The small independant race team known as Circle Sport has decided to pay tribute to the man behind the No. 90.

How do they plan on doing this? Well by running a throwback paint scheme and switching their number to 90 of course. Landon Cassill will pilot the retro looking car this weekend at Richmond. The team's best finish in 2014 came at Talladega where they placed 11th.

Junie Donlavey fielded a car at NASCAR's top level for an astonishing 55 years, which adds up to 863 starts. In total, 64 men drove for him at some point in their career, some of which went on to become champions and HOF'ers.
