Kenseth on racing at Chicagoland Speedway:
"I'm looking forward to heading to Chicagoland this weekend because it's the closest track to home for me. We typically get the chance to have more family and friends at Chicagoland than any other track we go to throughout the season as well. This is a track that we haven't won at yet, but we've finished second a couple of times and we've been close to a win, so it would be great to get a win there. I also just really like night racing, especially the Saturday night races because that's how a lot of us grew up racing local tracks on Saturday nights. It's a little cooler temperature-wise, you can see the sparks flying into the stands, and it just seems to add to the excitement."
Crew chief Jimmy Fennig on racing at Chicagoland Speedway:
"Matt does a really good job on 1.5-mile race tracks so we're hoping to have a great run at Chicago this weekend. We're looking at running a few different set-ups than we have been running currently at 1.5-mile tracks so that hopefully we can capitalize on a few things we've been able to learn this year. Based on some notes from our teammates, we're going to take our Michigan set-up from "Happy Hour" and make a few tweaks to it since the car was really stout during that practice session."
Entering this weekend, Kenseth is currently seventh in the Sprint Cup Series driver point standings
