Chase Elliott will pilot this No. 25 before stepping into the No. 24 next year.
Before taking the wheel from NASCAR icon Jeff Gordon in the No. 24 car next year, Chase Elliott will get a taste of the Sprint Cup Series in 2015. Hendrick Motorsports will field a fifth car for the reigning Xfinity champion, backed by NAPA.
This also marks the return of Rick Hendrick's No. 25 car, which hasn't been fielded by the team since October of 2009 with then rookie Brad Keselowski. Chase Elliott will take part in five races, debuting at Martinsville, followed by another short track at Richmond. He will also take part in three very prestigious events, being the Southern 500 at Darlington, the Brickyard 400 at Indy, and the Coke 600 at Charlotte.
