BURTON ON THE COCA COLA 600--
"We're taking the same car back that we ran at Texas in April. It ran pretty good there and I think that we have made some gains since we raced there that should help us this weekend. There are a lot of different areas that we are working on with our speedway cars. We've tested at Kentucky and we just tested at Dover, so we have some new things that we plan to try.
"The Winston was a bad deal. That race always brings out the worst in everybody. We were just trying to be careful and get through the first two segments and then we would try and make a bid for the front in the final segment. We were just minding our own business and Gordon [Jeff] ran all over the back of us on the back straightaway. But, that's just the luck we have. We can't seem to catch a break. We'll hopefully get back there and run competitively and be there at the end of 600 miles."
THE CAT TEAM TESTED DOVER--
"We were very happy with the results of our test in Dover," said crew chief Frank Stoddard. "For some reason, there was a lot of grip on the track and we went through a lot of tires. By the end of the test, we were running consistently well and we should have something fast enough to qualify in the top five when we get back there next week."
* The Caterpillar team returns to Lowe's Motor Speedway with the same car they ran at Texas Motor Speedway, where they started 33rd and drove up through the field and finished 12th.
