Driver, Travis Kvapil:
What have you and your team been able to learn at Charlotte from the past few weeks of tests and races?
"We used last weekend's Showdown race as another chance to gain some valuable on-track information when it comes to racing at Charlotte. I felt really good about our Charlotte test as well as the practice session we had leading into the Showdown. Our car was pretty strong at the start of the runs, but then we got a bit tight as the laps went on last weekend. I feel that we were able to learn a few more things that will help us out this weekend for the Coca-Cola 600. This is a very long race on Sunday and our team is really focused on having a car that can adapt to 600 miles of changing track conditions. We saw that as the sun went down during last weekend's Showdown, my car got tighter and I know we'll be able to anticipate what adjustments we need to make going into this weekend thanks to all of our recent track time at Charlotte. I'm looking forward to a great weekend in our Lumber Liquidators Ford."
Crew Chief, Todd Parrott:
How did testing and last weekend's race help prepare you for the Coca-Cola 600?
"This weekend for the Coca-Cola 600 we're taking the same car we took to Las Vegas, where Travis earned his first top-10 finish of the season. We also took this car to Texas Motor Speedway in April and thought it was a pretty fast car overall. Looking ahead to this weekend and racing at Charlotte, I think that we had some very successful runs at this track both during our test season earlier this month, as well as the practice time leading up to the Showdown last weekend. The Showdown allowed us to see how our set-up performed in a shorter race setting and we came away with a few more ideas as we finalize everything for this weekend."
