HOME IS WHERE THE HEADACHE IS

82. SCOTT SPEED

VITAL SIGNS: Speed held serve in the respective points standings. He's 26th in driver points, 27th in owner.

SPEED: "We lacked overall grip at the start of the race, and that got us behind early. That was difficult to make up because the car was just so loose on entry and exit, but the whole No. 82 team worked really hard to get the car close to where we needed it to be. We definitely struggled here this weekend, but struggling is what makes success feel so good. I'm 100 percent confident in myself and in this team. We will figure it out."

83. CASEY MEARS

VITAL SIGNS: The No. 83 dropped two positions in owner points to 23rd.

MEARS: "That was a long race. The car started off really tight, causing us to loose a lot of ground at the beginning. We fought front-end problems the whole race. It never responded like we wanted it to or had the grip we needed. The guys made a lot of adjustments in the pits, but the car remained loose in and off and tight in the center. Hopefully we can turn things around in Pocono next week. I'd really like to bring home a good finish for this team."
