OAKWOOD HOMES TO GIVE-A-WAY SUNRISE DREAM HOME AT CHARLOTTE MOTOR SPEEDWAY
CHARLOTTE, N.C. --- Oakwood Homes will conclude their 1998 "Racin' Sellabration" program on Monday, November 16 at Charlotte Motor Speedway when one person will be selected to win a Sunrise Dream Home.
Oakwood Homes, who began the "Racin' Sellabration" contest in June of this year, offered customers the chance to win a three bedroom Sunrise Dream Home. Customers entered the contest by filling out a registration card at any of the 380 Oakwood Homes sales centers across the nation.
One name was drawn on the Wednesday after each race the No. 15 Oakwood Homes Chevrolet participated in. The 10 winners brought to Charlotte are eligible to win the home, and will participate in the Richard Petty Driving Experience held throughout the day. Fourteen Oakwood Homes employees that participated in a reward incentive program will be brought to Charlotte Motor Speedway as well to participate in the driving experience.
"Our ‘Racin' Sellabration' program has brought a lot of success to our sales centers," said Jim Steinmeyer, Senior Vice President of Marketing for Oakwood Homes. "We have been working towards this part of the program since June when we debuted the Oakwood Homes Busch Series car at Richmond International Raceway, and have been very pleased with what our motorsports programs have been able to offer Oakwood Homes. It will be nice to give back to customers and employees that have helped create this success."
Ken Schrader, driver of the No. 15 Oakwood Homes Chevrolet in the NASCAR Busch Series will be at Charlotte Motor Speedway from 3-5 p.m. on Monday, November 16. Local radio personalities John Boy and Billy from 99.7 "The Fox" will broadcast live from Charlotte Motor Speedway from 3-5 p.m. The Richard Petty Driving Experience will take place from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. with the winner of the home being drawn at 4:30 p.m.
