"M&M's"® Racing Team Lowe's Motor Speedway Highlights... * The No. 36 "M&M's"® Pontiac will have a slightly different paint scheme for the UAW-GM Quality 500 at Lowe's Motor Speedway. All the details about the paint scheme will be unveiled at the press conference.

* The best start at Lowe's Motor Speedway for the "M&M's"® Racing Team was a fourth-place effort in the fall of 1998 with retired driver Ernie Irvan behind the wheel.

* Think they'll qualify 16th? Despite having only five starts at Lowe's Motor Speedway under their belt, the "M&M's"® Racing Team has no problem qualifying up front. The average starting position for the "M&M's"® Pontiac at Charlotte is 16th. On the opposite side of the coin, "M&M's"® driver Jerry Nadeau has an average starting position of 17th in his three Charlotte starts.

Jerry Nadeau's thoughts on racing at Lowe's Motor Speedway... "There is no other track on the circuit quite like Charlotte. It has a lot of unique characteristics that make it tricky to drive, but it's a good race track and the fans are guaranteed to get a good show. A big key at qualifying well at Charlotte is to draw a late number in the order. Cars that qualify right at seven still have a little sun on the track to contend with which usually means a little slower time. An hour or so later the track has cooled down considerably and the time usually pick up a little."
