DENNY HAMLIN, No. 11 FedEx Ground Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing
Are you confident with the tracks coming up? "I'm definitely upbeat about them. We do have some great race tracks coming up for us. We're putting those guys in a position where if they make one mistake, we're going to be right there. At California our car was definitely better than what the finishing position was. I go to Charlotte thinking I can win the race and lead the most laps. I feel pretty good about that."
KYLE BUSCH, No. 18 M&M's Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing
What do you think about racing at Charlotte Motor Speedway? "Charlotte's a tricky track because we practice during the day and then we race at night so all the practice time you get, the track's really hot, it's really slick and pretty slow. A lot of stuff changes when you go into the night time -- the way the track is, the way the loads are, the way the speed is. For us, it's fun, I enjoy Charlotte -- it's a neat place for me to go race at. We have a new Nationwide car there so that's going to throw a new dynamic into how the weekend goes. Overall, looking forward to it."
DAVID REUTIMANN, No. 00 Aaron's Dream Machine Toyota Camry, Michael Waltrip Racing
Is Charlotte one of your favorite race tracks after getting your first win there? "We have about five-eighths of a win there -- we don't know if we consider it a full win, a little short of that. To win the Coke 600, even though it was a little shorter than we planned on, it was a great win and a great victory. To come back to Charlotte -- I love the race track and love the mile-and-a-half race tracks. I love the layout of the race track and love that it's close to home -- that is always a good thing."
How do you compare Charlotte to tracks like Chicago or Texas? "There are a lot of similarities and a lot of the mile-and-a-half race tracks are laid out similar. Charlotte's definitely got its own unique personality. The way that you drive off into (turn) one and the track kind of falls out underneath you and has a tendency to make your car a little free there. The fact that you can run on the very top or very bottom. There's a lot of tracks on the circuit that you can do that. I think Charlotte is just a really cool place and a really fast race track. A lot of fun to race on."
