After fighting back to a 13th-place finish last Sunday at California, Kenseth and the No. 17 team take to the friendly confines of Charlotte Motor Speedway where Kenseth finished 10th in the rain-shortened Coca-Cola 600 in May.
This will be Kenseth's 21st race at Charlotte Motor Speedway, where he has finished top five in five of his starts and top 10 on nine occasions. Kenseth finished 10th at Charlotte in the spring race this year.

Kenseth will pull double duty at Charlotte this weekend, running in both the Nationwide and Sprint Cup events. It will be the first of four consecutive Nationwide races that Kenseth will compete in to close out the 2009 season. BLACK AND GOLD OF CARHARTT ON THE CAR
The No. 17 Ford Fusion will carry the black and gold Carhartt paint scheme for the final time of the season this weekend at Charlotte. Kenseth took the checkered flag at California in the Carhartt car earlier this season. It is the fourth time this season the No. 17 has carried the Carhartt colors.
"Charlotte is a great track and we always look forward to racing there. The racing is a lot of fun, we've been pretty good there over the years and we always going there feeling like we shoudl be competitive. It's where I got my first win and we won the All-Star race there as well so it has a lot of memories for us. Lately track position has been key and clean air means a lot. It can be hard to pass with these cars, so hopefully we'll have a good strategy to stay up front and a fast enough car to compete at the end."
